Yes. For patients approved under the GivingBack programme, the surgery itself costs nothing. Your surgeon's fees, operation theatre, anaesthesia, implants and hospital stay are all covered by the Sita Bhateja Charitable Trust.
Once you are admitted: the surgery, your bed in a three-sharing general ward, nursing care, medicines during your stay, and meals for the patient. Accommodation for one attendant is also included.
Three things: pre-operative investigations, post-operative investigations, physiotherapy and medicines prescribed at discharge or for home use. These are the only costs a patient's family should expect to bear.
No. What is covered is covered, and what isn't is listed above. Nothing gets added after your surgery. If anyone tells you otherwise, contact us directly on 9380371430/9945563148.
Care is provided in a general three-sharing ward. It is the same ward, the same nurses and the same surgical team that any patient at the hospital receives — the room category is the only difference.
Tell us during your enquiry. We would rather know early than have you drop out of treatment. Our team will discuss what's possible.
GivingBack is for patients who need spine surgery and cannot afford it privately. Eligibility is assessed on financial need and on whether surgery is medically the right answer for your condition.
A BPL card or equivalent proof of income, any existing scans and reports (MRI, X-ray, CT), and prescriptions or notes from doctors you have already seen. Bring whatever you have — missing documents will not stop us from starting the conversation.
Message us on WhatsApp at 9380371430, email info@givingback.co.in, or call +91 80 4030 2700. Send your reports if you have them. Someone from the team will get back to you.
It depends on your case and on how urgent it is. Emergencies are treated as emergencies. For non-urgent cases appointment will be given for surgery, expect an initial response quickly and a decision after the surgical team has reviewed your scans.
We will tell you why, and we will point you towards other options where we can — government schemes, other trusts, or a different course of treatment. A no from us is not the end of the road.
